Our Story

One of the most relevant questions in the fashion industry for the last few decades has been “who made my clothes?”. Through this platform we hope to reach out and educate our consumer audience about not just who made your clothes, but how they were made, how the fabric was woven, what it was printed upon with and where it comes from. Each yardage tells its own tale – and we want to highlight the versatility and diversity of Indian textiles by empowering artisans and letting them tell stories through their craft – stories of tradition which are held safely in the stitches of these fabrics.
Manjha was born out of a desire to bring together the colours, patterns and textures of India. We want to trace out a textiles and handicrafts map of the country by uncovering its rich heritage one region at a time.  From Gandhi’s popularized hand spun ‘khadi’ to the intricate weaves of Banarasi silk, from the block-prints of Rajasthan to the tie & dye of Gujarat – everything at Manjha is handmade with love.

Manjha is a labour of love by a bunch of passionate folks based out of Gurgaon, India. We are purveyors of the slow fashion movement, dedicated to the practices of sustainability and fair trade. Create your own fashion statement with Manjha Custom, write to us at hello@mymanjha.com.
